Continuing the rich tradition of travel in the Grissom High School Choral Music Program, we're happy to announce that the program will be traveling once again to New York City!

Partnering with Sechrist Travel to make this amazing trip a reality, we plan to blend our amazing choral experience with educational and fun sightseeing to ensure a well rounded trip for our students that will surly produce memories that will last a lifetime.

Right to Cancel - Client shall be entitled to cancel this Agreement only upon the terms set forth in this Section. Client expressly acknowledges and agrees that the tour group representative communicating directly with ST in connection with the tour may cancel the tour on behalf of Client if such representative determines that it is necessary or desirable, whether as the result of an Act of God or otherwise, that the tour be cancelled.  Cancellation Schedule is subject to the terms of this Section, and provided that Client has made all payments required under the Payment Schedule, Client may cancel this Agreement by providing written notice of the cancellation to ST. Upon providing such notice, subject to Section below, Client is entitled to return of any deposits less the applicable cancellation fee as set forth in the Cancellation Schedule set forth below. 

The following per person fees apply for cancellations: 

First $250 per person in NON-REFUNDABLE at any time prior to 120 days before departure; 

From 120 to 91 days before departure the cancellation fee is 20% of the tour price per person; 

From 90 to 61 days before departure the cancellation fee is 25% of the tour price per person; 

From 60 to 31 days before departure the cancellation fee is 50% of the tour price per person; 

From 30 days before departure until the departure date the cancellation fee is the full tour price per person. 

Payments made by credit card will incur a 5% surcharge issued by the credit card processor.

Morning, assemble and transfer to local airport for travel to New York City. Upon arrival into New York City, meet your Tour Manager who will be with you for the duration of your stay in New York City. 

Lunch ON YOUR OWN

Upon arrival, enjoy some sightseeing (on foot) with your tour manager that could include midtown Manhattan, Grand Central Station, Bryant Park, New York Public Library, and Rockefeller Center. 

Later, transfer to your Midtown Manhattan Hotel (TBC), for check-in. Enjoy an orientation walking tour with your Tour Manager

Group Welcome Dinner provided @ Puglia's Little Italy (6pm confirmed)

Overnight: Springhill Suites Chelsea  located at 140 W 28th Street  (confirmed)

Breakfast provided. Today you will have a Broadway Classroom Choral Workshop (confirmed @ 10AM)

This session is taught by a Broadway performer from the show your group is seeing during your visit. Sheet music will be provided to the group, who will then work with a cast member and one of Broadway Workshop’s musical directors.

Lunch ON YOUR OWN

This afternoon, enjoy a Choral Clinic with local choral professional or possible High School Choir Exchange with NJ High School.

Group Dinner provided

Attend a Broadway performance (two shows included in your package; based on request & availability). Tentatively Confirmed - The Outsiders (7PM)

Overnight: Springhill Suites Chelsea  located at 140 W 28th Street  (confirmed)

Breakfast provided. This morning, enjoy the opportunity to perform a 30-minute recital at The Cathedral of St. John the Divine (confirmed @ 10AM)

Lunch On Your Own

This afternoon, enjoy a guided walk through Central Park, see Castle Clinton, Strawberry Fields, The Dakota, and Columbus Circle

Group Dinner provided @ Gayle's Broadway Rose (confirmed 5PM)

Attend a Broadway performance (two shows included in your package; based on request & availability). Tentatively Confirmed - Hadestown (7PM)

Overnight: Springhill Suites Chelsea  located at 140 W 28th Street  (confirmed)

Breakfast provided. Transfer to lower Manhattan where you'll enjoy a walking tour to include popular sites such as Trinity Church, Battery Park, Wall Street, New York Stock Exchange, Federal Hall, St. Paul’s Chapel. We will conclude with a visit to the Oculus and the 9/11 Memorial Garden, including entrance to the 9/11 Memorial Museum (confirmed @ 10AM)

Lunch On Your Own

This afternoon, enjoy a visit to Hudson Yards and experience the Edge, the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere. It’s suspended in mid-air, giving you the feeling of floating in the sky with 360-degree views you can’t get anywhere else. Look 100 stories down from the thrilling glass floor, lean out over the city on angled glass walls. (This could be replaced with Top of the Rock or the Empire State Building)

Breakfast provided. Check out of Hotel and store luggage 

Load luggage onto coach and depart for return trip to Nashville.
